For some reason, Cam had a lot of unit tests this week:  Spelling, Language Arts, and Math.  He scored 100s on all of them.  :D   I took a picture of this one (Language Arts):

100%

Since I didn’t blog this week while it was still ‘fresh’ in my mind (I usually blog on Friday afternoons), this blog won’t have a lot of back story.  I’ll load it up with pictures I took throughout the week, and try to add descriptions to the photos.

We’ll start with Saturday night, when we went to the Ringling Bros & Barnum and Bailey Circus:

Heritage Studies this week was pretty interesting.  We were learning about the voyages of Christopher Columbus.  So we made maps, and pumpkin pie squares (using spices from Asia).

Ty started a new theme in his “Beginnings” class (Language Arts/Reading).  It’s all about oceans.  His Snack of the Week this week was “Fish Bowls”.  Blue jello with Swedish Fish.

And finally, here are a couple of pictures of the boys’ “P.E.” class:

So that’s a quick look at our week.  Next week will be much more interesting…we had our cousin, Kendall, spend a day with us, a field trip to the “Imaginarium”, and some cool snacks and crafts.  :D   Be sure to check back in a couple of days.
