2011 – 2012: The “Lost” Year

The 2011-2012 school year is one I have deemed “the lost year”. We went through the motions of school. We watched video lessons, completed the assignments, and passed the tests. But we didn’t have a whole lot of fun. Sure, we had “fun” spots here and there, but when I compare it to previous years…well, there’s just no comparison.

Hi. Just browsing through your blog. I found it while searching BJU distance learning. I see you are no longer using the DVD’s and although I am aware of the cons of doing school this way, it seems like the best option with a newborn coming soon. Any suggestions, ideas on making sure it’s “boredom” proof? More fun… In hind-sight that is! thanks for sharing your experiences!
