Christmas: Part II
I found the photos I took of the boys opening their presents from Grandma Jean, Grandpa Bill, Aunt Naomi, and Uncle Dan: The boys really loved everything you bought for them! Thank you so much!
Tim Hawkins LIVE!
For Scott’s 40th birthday I was able to get us tickets to see Tim Hawkins live! Scott was thrilled. We invited Grandma and Grandpa to go with us, and Tim didn’t disappoint. The boys also enjoy Tim Hawkins, and yes, they sang along with Tim during his show. Their favorite song being, “Smells Like Kansas”. [...]

Here are some pictures from Christmas. It all started with a trip to Bass Pro to visit Santa: Christmas with Jess: Decorations and food: For those of you who know me, you know that I can’t grow anything to save my life. However, I have managed to find a fool-proof way of growing Christmas trees [...]
Soles 4 Souls
On Sunday, our church started a new series: “The ME I Want to Be”. It was about giving of ourselves, realizing our blessings, and helping those less fortunate. It was incredibly powerful. At the end of the sermon, our pastor threw us a curveball: he challenged us to act today – then he showed us [...]

Jess Moves Out
We moved Jessica into her dorm room yesterday. It was insane. It was very hot and humid, and there were people moving in all over. Thankfully, since Jessica is on the fourth floor, the elevators made the move a little easier. It wasn’t until we were unloading the last load that we found out you [...]

The Big Move
We spent the first week (or has it been two now?) moving into our new house. What a nightmare! I’d like to go on record now to say that I absolutely hate moving. Every muscle in my body is sore. I am exhausted every day. I wake up to towering boxes of stuff that I [...]

Congratulations to Jess! She graduated #2 in her class, and was able to obtain $96,000 in scholarship money. YAY! Here are some pictures taken during Jessica’s graduation BBQ:
The Sun Shines A Little Less Today
I’d like to introduce you to an amazing woman that I know. I met her 10 years ago. I loved her from the first day I met her. She was the type of woman you could draw strength from. Always quick with words of encouragement, inspiration, and humor. She wore her heart on her sleeve, [...]
